Leyden Township is Developing its First-Ever Comprehensive Plan!

Entitled “Leyden Township Looking Ahead,” the plan will build on current and ongoing efforts and define a cohesive vision and strategies for land use, housing, economic development, transportation, and open space. Because the Township includes multiple municipalities, the plan will focus on the unincorporated area, Referred to in this process as “Central Leyden," this area is home to approximately 9,000 residents.

The planning process is just getting started. We want to collect as much public input as possible to make sure that the plan addresses issues most important to the community. Get started with the comment map, and stay tuned for future engagement opportunities to come!
