Will County is updating its Land Resources Management Plan (LRMP), a future-thinking framework that lays out the County's goals and objectives to inform decision-making around land use and policy creation. The LRMP project process will include updates to two key ingredients that guide how the county will look, feel, and grow in the future:

The Policy Gateway

This plan document outlines the current demographics, trends, and issues in the County as well as its goals and objectives for the future. The Policy Gateway acts as the compass for County growth and decision-making.

The Forms & Concepts Handbook

This user-friendly handbook focuses on land use at a regional level, outlining desired development form, and addressing the way land use should and should not occur in the county. The Forms & Concepts Handbook provides the County with a blueprint for desired land use development.
